The Story
One of the world’s largest telecommunication companies was looking to reduce operating costs by consolidating their five regional billing systems into one existing strategic system. To ensure the systems could successfully merge, they needed to fully document and understand approximately 2 million lines of legacy billing code written in Assembler (ALC), in order to maintain the business requirements provided in the ALC system, and with minimal disruption to the business and customers.
