Global Investment Company
Intellisys' automation combined with a phased approach and subject matter expertise, accurately and rapidly transformed a critical legacy application into a modern system.
An American multinational financial services firm offers comprehensive investment and advisory services from individual investors to large corporations. In the company's efforts to reduce costs, they looked to modernize a legacy transactional system written in COBOL that was running on IBM's AS400 system. The modernization project required reverse-engineering of the COBOL application, optimization of the extracted meta-data, and then transformation of the optimized meta-data to Java and PL/SQL code using Oracle as a database. The client felt that the complete set of automated capabilities provided by Intellisys was the ideal solution to facilitate the migration while mitigating risks.
